We could recored 100 episodes talking with the MUA's Mick Doleman with all his stories and accomplishments as a activist and trade union leader and all 100 would be great. This time we got something different. Brother Doleman took the time to tell us a story that very few had ever heard up until a year ago. Listen as Mick tells us the emotional story of the sinking of the Blythe Star, a story of survival and loss, that lead to industry change that would to save sailors's lives.

Joulene, Ryan, Zack, Dan, Steph, and Leith sat down to reflect on the LAWCHA 2017 conference, the Ten Guiding Principles, Black Lives Matter, indigenous rights, the ILWU's opposition to Japanese internment, and LAWCHA's invaluable contribution to the labor movement and study of working class history.
The Labor and Working-Class History Association (LAWCHA) is an organization of labor scholars, teachers, and activists working to promote the teaching and learning of labor history in public schools, universities, and union halls. More conversations from the ITF Young Workers Conference in Buenos Aries. This was the first time we used the help of translators so we could speak with some guests who's english wasn't the best. First was Dario Miranda and Brian Latrille from La Franteridad, then we spoke with Ousseynou Badji from the dockers union in Senegal with the help from Paulin lacheze of the ITF, then last was Herrera Bruno from SITPETRANSO in Peru with help from Heder Santana form the ITF.
